Wed Zeppelin: Live! at the AbbeySaturday, October 3, 2009 | Doors open at 5:45pm, Nuptials at 6LOCATION The Abbey 2825 Fifth Ave. San Diego, CA DIRECTIONS Driving South I-5 Merge onto the I-8 East Merge onto the CA-163 South towards Downtown Take the University Ave Exit to 6th Ave Turn right onto Olive Street Turn right onto 5th Ave Driving North I-5 Take the 6th Ave Exit to Downtown Merge onto Elm Street Turn right onto 5th Ave Parking for The Abbey is on the street. Some of the spaces are metered. Meters are free after 6pm. Balboa Park has a free to the general public parking lot across the lawn, on 6th Ave. The lot entrance is located at the intersection of Upas and 6th Ave. Please allow time to locate parking. CEREMONY This event is General Admission, with standing room in the pit and seating available on a first come, first serve basis, with some reserved seating for VIP. The nuptials are estimated to run for about 20 minutes after the house lights first go down. Children are welcome on the basis that they do not disrupt the ceremony and are certainly welcome at the reception. RECEPTION An awesome after-party will be held at the Abbey immediately following the show. Please stay for great food, beer, and debauchery! ATTIRE Dress to Impress! The dress code for this event is semi-formal or "rockstar chic," if you feel a little sassy/creative. Ladies, classy not trashy; please leave the fishnets and belly shirts at home. Men: jeans are okay, as long as you wear a sharp shirt and jacket. Hats and funky hair acoutrement are encouraged but not mandatory, but baseball caps are prohbited. PHOTOGRAPHY is encouraged, contrary to the rules printed on the reverse of your ticket. Please bring your cameras! |
